Intro to R Workshop

Join GUSH on for an introductory R workshop — no prior experience required!

The workshop will cover fundamental and widely-applicable skills such as using the R console, script editor, writing functions, looping, simulations, and plotting. This will equip you with the fundamental knowledge and a strong foundation to prepare for spring courses with an R component (such as Stat 111, Stat 104, Stat 102, Gov 50, Ec 20, Psych 1900, etc.) — or just learn the basics of R for fun! This workshop will be especially helpful for students taking Stat 111.

Matt DiSorbo '17 will be teaching the workshop. Matt is a recent statistics alum who was an outstanding statistics concentrator and teaching fellow. Matt also has many years of experience using R in industry through his time at BlackRock, and he is currently a doctoral student at Harvard Business School.

Hope to see you all there!
